It was such an honour to photograph Jeff & Christine’s beautiful country wedding this year. The ceremony and reception were held at the groom’s home farm where they married in front of the generational farm house and cleared out the barn to hold a lovely reception. Here are a few memories from that day.
The bride and her lovely bridesmaids sharing a good laugh before the ceremony.
One of my favourite details from the day- guests sat on hay bales covered in vintage quilts
The barn was transformed into a stunning reception hall and no detail was overlooked. Christine and her mom scoured thrift stores for months to ensure that everything was just right. The whole day was filled with personal, handmade touches that truly reflected the couple and their family and friends.
It’s official! And their daughter is excited about it too!
What a lucky guy to have all of these beautiful ladies in his life!
The fantastic wedding party!
Did I mention there were SO many awesome locations for me to choose from?
The sunflower patch- another highlight.
My personal favourite 😉
Family <3 What it’s all about.
Let the party begin!
Jeff & Christine, it was a pleasure capturing your day! To a lifetime of happiness!
I had the privilege of photographing a gender reveal session several months ago for a very wonderful couple. The catch? They were doing the gender reveal just for them; a special little moment for the two parents-to-be (and me) not to be revealed to anyone else until baby arrived. So even though I wanted to share the photos right away, I was honoured to be holding such a special secret. Now that she’s arrived, I am able to share the awesome little moment that changed their lives forever. I love seeing their reactions to the news that their world was going to turn pink.
Maybe it’s because her mommy and daddy are good friends of mine. Maybe it’s because she has the cutest, roundest face. Maybe it’s because you can tell how much he loves her.
But this photo gets me.
Congrats to the new parents; I’m looking forward to all of the years ahead with our littles.
It’s been a BUSY spring but I’m not complaining. Although, it has put me very behind on my blogging. So in an attempt to actually keep up with this blog, I will post all winter sessions so we can move on to the much more lovely and enjoyable spring.
This is Dexter. He turned one recently, okay not THAT recently; there was still snow on the ground. However, no amount of gloominess outside could have stopped hime from enjoying that cake!
Summer. I can feel it!
I hope everyone had a fantastic long weekend! My family and I made the most of the beautiful weather and the kids actually got to play in the sprinkler!
If you would like to book a session for this summer, please contact me as soon as possible as things fill up very quickly once the beautiful weather gives all a gentle reminder of our fondness for family fun and the outdoors!
I’ll leave you with a shot of my kids from this gorgeous holiday weekend. This picture is how I want my kids to remember their childhood.
In honour of Mother’s Day this past weekend I put together a few images of a recent mother/daughter session. It’s easy to see the love between these two.
